Managing Director
Steven left school in 1986 and attended Vauxhall College of Building and Further Education to study the craft of mastic asphalt work. Steven graduated in 1988 and went on to lead a team of asphalt spreaders. In 1996, Steven took control of the company and, to date, has remained the Managing Director with countless accreditations in most aspects of the roofing industry.
Michelle Ball BEM, S.A.C. Dip. (Sister to Steven Ball)

Michelle came back to work full time for the family business in 2007. She is now the Office Manager who takes great pride in giving the best possible customer service at all times. Michelle has also been awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) in the 2014 Queen’s Birthday Honours List for her services to the community in South London.
Simon Rushworth (Cousin of Steven Ball)

Simon is one of our specialist flat felt roofing operatives, not only does Simon produce exceptional work he is also a very good team leader often using his own initiative to ensure not only his projects, but others within the company are only to the highest standard.
Darren Holland

Darren is our longest standing employee who originally joined the company as an asphalt machine operator 17 years ago but was keen to learn a highly skilled trade. He was enrolled into a comprehensive course on high performance built up felts, achieving NVQ level. Darren’s progress has been outstanding, now producing first class exceptional work ranking among the best in the industry.
Chaz Miller 1980-2014
In memory of our friend, Chaz
We are proud to have known and worked with Chaz from 2010 until he sadly passed away in July 2014 aged just 34. Chaz always enjoyed working for Chris Ball Roofing, so we feel a fitting tribute to him would be to include and to always remember him within our company.
A fine roofer and a very kind respectful man.
